What Heirloom is
Heirloom creates personalized, AI-illustrated storybooks starring your child, as digital books you can read here and as printed books we produce and ship to you.
Your content, your book
The photos, names, and details you share remain yours. The finished book we create for your family is yours to keep, reread, and reprint. You give us permission to process your content solely to create and deliver your books. Please only upload photos you have the right to share, of children in your care.
AI-made art
Our illustrations are created by AI from your photos. Each one is unique, and small imperfections are part of how these pictures are made. You will always see every page before you order a printed copy.
Orders and refunds
Printed books are made to order for your family, so they cannot be restocked. If your book arrives damaged or with a printing defect, email us within 30 days and we will reprint it. If a reprint cannot make it right, we may, at our discretion, refund your purchase instead. For books you order from your library, this covers physical damage and printing defects; because you see and approve every page before ordering, artistic style and interpretation are not defects. Living Library chapters arrive without a review step, so they carry a simpler promise: if a chapter arrives damaged, has a printing defect, or truly misses the mark, email us within 30 days and we will remake it. If we got something wrong, we make it right.
The Living Library
Library subscriptions renew monthly after any included period and can be canceled any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future charges; everything already in your library stays yours.
Fair use of the service
Please don't use Heirloom to create content that is unlawful, harmful, or about people who haven't consented. We may decline or remove content that violates this, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
